Back to Stnicks again! (With NAIY this time!)

the usual Orange Bowl, Ice tea and talking to teachers!

we were walking around the classroom block looking and waving to the teachers (and laughing at some of them!).
i saw MrsSherwood giving lessons and i got reminded of how she used to tell us almost every single lesson towards the second half of 2007 that "If you people don't know this by now, you really ought to be shot dead" during geog lessons!
if im not wrong, i think i paid attention to almost all of her lessons! haha.. and its something im really proud of. *smiles*

MissPrav and MrsTan are happily helping me countdown to the start of school. cos they are just so jealous of the fact that i start school 10 days later than they do.. HAHA. but they should feel honoured that i went back to visit them 2 days out of the 10 days okay!

And! stnicks now has this new rule of no slippers and shorts allowed. apparently we look too sloppyish. ohwells.. its going to be so inconvienent lah..

Must have FAITH okays!

Can't believe its been a year since i had to go through the near death experience of getting my Os results.. i rmb going back to school early in the morning and attending assembly! like almost the entire cohort went back for assembly and 4 cohorts had to leave the entire length of the first rows of track empty just for us! haha..
then the wait till 2pm was almost pure torture. there was a lot of false news going around and everyone was waiting for MsChan's announcements on the different subjects throughout the day.. once the announcement sounded everyone would flock to the nearest speaker and telling each other to 'SHHH!!'.
and when MsChan announced the news of how well we did the whole school erupted into screams of joy and happiness.. then 2pm came and everyone was sitted ever-so-impatiently in the hall, some even threatening to dissolve into tears already. i managed to hold out till halfway through the presentation which was the summary of how we did overall as a cohort and everything.. i stopped paying attention after a while. haha.. i cant rmb if i made anges cry or anges made me cry but we somehow influenced each other on the waterworks! haha.
after which, we all lined up according to register number to take back our results.. i was the 7th in line! haha.. i was so reluctant to go forth and take the paper from MsPrav's hands. it was that encouraging, i-know-you-gave-your-best smile from her that i had the courage to glance at that scary piece of paper.. somehow the first thing i saw was this horrible ugly looking "C FIVE" staring right back in my face and i couldnt even register anything else, not even which subject i got that horrible grade for and i just broke down.
luckily chen lao shi was there to comfort me and reassure me that i didnt do as badly as i did for prelims. i rmb her taking my results slip and she commented "不错吗..很多A. and that one subject you should get a C for." haha.. i got a shock. but so many "TWO"s lah.. wasted. haha..

woah. haha..
i unknowingly rambled so much about Os results day last year..

something MrsKhong said really made me think..
"Learn from your mistakes and don't repeat them again. I believe that you are capable and the results are even reflected in your last minute revision for Os. You just have to start earlier and do more consistent work. *insert that MrsKhong's standard accusing look* You have the potential to fo well and come back with all As for me to see okay!"
Yeaps! I'll go back to stnicks next year with all my As! =)

haha.. finally a decent post after an indecently long period of time.

headed back to stnicks with denise!
i was craving very badly for my 橙碗 (translation: Orange Bowl).

our orange bowls! dont be jealous okay.. haha!

when i got there it was primary side recess and later lower sec recess time. the queue was like super long as usual! so we went to walk walk at staffroom to enjoy aircon and see teachers!
haha.. the teachers were complaining that we go staffroom aim is to enjoy aircon only.
which is so not true please..

i got to chat with MrsKhong, MsPrav and MrsTan! and i got hugs too! =)
the teachers were so cute. (especially mrs tan!) haha.. they were so jealous that we start school 10days later than they do. ohwells! we have holiday homework.. so it makes up in a way.
found out from MrWong that MsChoo is on one-year leave. Rest well!

we left at 1055 to beat the upper sec recess crowd! haha. we saw the short one metre long queue from the fam lounge and we ran for it!
ohh! you know that their recess now is only 30mins long?
thats so sad lah! haha.. what happened to the good old 45mins! we caught many students (and teachers too!) unable to adapt to the 30mins and they were late! haha.. tsktsk.
we accompanied MrsSherwood for her recess too! we are such nice people. =)

i love the awesome stnicks big and abundant mirrors! =)

CCA banners! i see so many familiar ones. =)
they recycled the posters from last year too. they should have used the ones we used 2 years ago! they were so professionally done and really pretty! (i still rmb there was poster theifs! bad.)

the usual:

we were at the upper concourse looking at the class allocations and stuff before we left..
haha i was sort of in a hurry.. and we kept seeing mrwong everywhere!

Hello 2009. =)
2008 has been great even though there are times that was seemingly bleak. It has been a special year especially because of you.
Hoping for an awesome year even though its the A Levels year. Many things to look forward to, many things to escape from. Too much things to learn and too much stuff i forgot (and thus, need to revise).
I promise to keep my 2009 New Year Resolutions.

i'll blog soon. i think.
